See what changed

The History tab lists every conversion, newest first, with the date and the products involved.

Spot-check

Open a few of the new products and compare prices, sale prices and stock with what you expect. Then browse your shop and a category page the way a shopper would, and pick an option from a new product's menu.

Undo

Click Undo on any row in History. For a combine, it deletes the variable product and shows the original simple products again, copying across any price or stock changes you made since. For a split, it deletes the new simple products and shows the variable product again.

Old links

After a combine, links to the hidden simple products keep working. Visitors and search engines are sent to the new variable product with that option already chosen. After a split, the variable product's page is hidden, so update any links you shared to it.
