What your supplier needs

Your business name, Business Number and GST number. Ask what else they require.

GST on your stock

You will normally pay GST on the stock you buy and claim it back through your GST return, which is one reason to register early (step 4). Ask your accountant how this works for your situation.

Questions to ask

What are the pricing, minimum order and shipping terms?
Can you use the supplier's product images and descriptions?
Is there a minimum advertised price you must follow?
Is dropshipping available?

Place a small test order to check the product, the packaging and the delivery time before you commit to a larger one.
