Who has to register

Yukon requires you to register a business name unless you trade under your own given name.

Reserve, then register

First reserve the name. A reservation costs $40 online or $60 on paper. Then file a declaration of business name, which costs $25 and lasts three years. Renewing it costs another $25.

Keep it

Save the registration. You will need it for the bank account, your City licence and your supplier account.
