Who has to register

In Nunavut you register a business name when you trade under any name other than your own. You must file within 60 days of first using the name.

What it costs

Registration is $50. No name search is required. We could not confirm whether the registration has to be renewed, so ask Legal Registries when you file.

Keep it

Save the confirmation. You will need it for the bank account, your business licence and your supplier account.
