Privacy

You fall under Canada's privacy law, PIPEDA. Customer data needs care, so:

  • Collect only what you need.
  • Never share it with advertising networks.
  • Say clearly in your policy what you keep and for how long.

Marketing email

Canada's anti-spam law, CASL, requires clear consent and an unsubscribe link in every marketing email.

Consumer rules

Manitoba's Consumer Protection Act has its own rules for internet sales to consumers. Check the current requirements with the Manitoba government or a lawyer before you publish your terms of sale.
